About the Role

This is an operations-focused dealing role. You will run the day-to-day trading operations of the dealing desk: monitoring client trading activity, preparing reports, reconciling trades and balances, and coordinating with internal teams, clients, Compliance and regulators. The role does not involve market analysis, trading signals or proprietary trading decisions. It suits someone who is reliable, organized and takes pride in getting the numbers right and on time.

Working Hours

This position may occasionally require working night shifts as part of the job responsibilities.

Regular Hour: 09:00 - 18:00 / 9 AM - 6 PM

Night Shift: 13:00 - 22:00 / 1 PM - 10 PM

Key Accountabilities

• Carry out routine daily dealing-desk operations, including monitoring client trading activity, open positions and account status on the MT4/MT5 platform according to established procedures.

• Prepare accurate and timely daily, weekly and monthly reports on trading activity, client positions and desk operations for management and relevant departments.

• Perform daily reconciliation of trades, positions, deposits/withdrawals and balances between the trading platform, liquidity providers, clearing house and internal records; investigate and resolve breaks.

• Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and that regulatory reports are submitted to the relevant authorities (e.g. BAPPEBTI and the clearing house) accurately and before deadlines.

• Identify abnormalities such as pricing errors, unusual trading patterns, platform or connectivity issues and data mismatches, and escalate them promptly to the appropriate team.

• Coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, IT, Compliance and other departments to resolve trade-related and operational issues.

• Respond to client enquiries and trade-related issues in a clear, professional manner, together with the Customer Service team.

• Support Compliance and management in preparing documentation, data and explanations for audits, regulatory enquiries and inspections when required.

• Assist with platform administration tasks such as setting up new products, symbol specifications and trading configurations as instructed, in line with regulatory requirements.

• Maintain and help improve standard operating procedures, checklists and logs for dealing-desk operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Statistics or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in brokerage, trading operations, financial operations, back office or reconciliation.

• Good Microsoft Excel and data-handling skills (e.g. formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, working with large data sets).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the discipline to meet daily and regulatory deadlines.

• Able to spot abnormalities or inconsistencies in data and escalate issues appropriately.

• Good communication and coordination skills; comfortable working with different departments, clients, Compliance and regulators.

• Good written and spoken English.

• Reliable, organized, process-driven and operations-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership for assigned tasks.

• Willing to work shifts, including occasional night shifts.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of forex/CFD products and how a brokerage dealing desk operates.

• Hands-on experience with MetaTrader 4/5 (MT4/MT5), especially the Manager or Administrator terminal.

• Familiarity with Indonesian futures industry regulations and reporting (BAPPEBTI, clearing house).

• Experience preparing regulatory or management reports in a financial institution.
